THREE MEN KILLED
CREW OF BIG UNER, BUFFETED BY ROUGH SEAS. FOUR MEN INJURED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) 9. LONDON, January 6. Three members of the crew were killed and four injured in an explosion aboard the liner Ulysses, which left Liverpool yesterday for Brisbane. The" Ulysses is making for Swansea to land the victims.
A message timed at 1.10 p.m. states: The Ulysses arrived at Swansea Bay and a doctor went aboard, but it is not expected that those killed and injured will be taken ashore to-night, owing to the rough weather. It is understood that the casualties were due to a heavy sea hitting the ship and not to an explosion.
