AMAZING NEW TEXTILES. (United Press Association--Copyright). LONDON. January 5. Materials for all-metal frocks will be included in a display which the Lancashire textile industry will exhibit at the British Industries Fair next month. Three new fabrics to he shown are, first, a material made entirely of metal, which glistens with rainbow colours, and costs 45s a yard; a fine worsted with tiny beads woven into it at spaces of half an inch; and a fabric which combines wool, cellophane and coloured metal strands in a single complex texture.—British Official Wireless.
