Mr N. F. Pattle (Ashburton manager of the Union Bank of Australia), who has been spending a holiday at Arthur's Pass with his wife and family, returned to-day.
Important changes in the executive staff of Dalgety and Co., Ltd., in New Zealand are announced by Mr W. S. Bennett, New Zealand superintendent of the company (says a Wellington Press Association message). As already announced, Mr Bennett has .been appointed to succeed Mr W. D. Stewart as superintendent in Australia. Mr J. F. Tonkin, at present manager of the Whangarci branch, is to succeed Mr C. M. Bruce at Christchurch. Mr R. C. Napier, at present accountant at Napier, will succeed Mr Tonkin as manager at Whangarci. Mi* D- McCorkindale will succeed Mr Napier as accountant at Napier.
