ELLSWORTH SEARCH.
DISCOVERY 11. LEAVES DUNEDIN (Per Press Association). DUNEDIN, This Day. The Antarctic vessel Discovery 11. sailed at 6 o’clock with ’planes for the Bay of AVhales to search for Mr Lincoln Ellsworth. She is expected to arrive about mid-January and if the lost party is not at Little America, flights will be made, the airmen carrying food ana medical supplies which can be dropped if Mr EllsAvorth is located Avhere a landing is not possible. Members of the expedition expressed the greatest optimism.
