MINISTERS FACE ELECTION. (United Press Association—Copyright.) OTTAWA, December 30. Charles Dunning (Minister of Finance) was elected by acclamation for the by-election at Charlottetown, ensuing through his appointment to the Cabinet. Ho was not a candidate at the general election. J. G. Gardiner (Minister of Agriculture) has been unexpectedly opposed for Assinibora by a Canadian co-opera-tive commonwealth candidate, William Irvine.
