THE SUSSEX DOWNS.
ESTABLISHMENT OF RESERVE. PRESERVATION FROM BUILDING LONDON, December 16. As the result of agreements reached between local councils and land-owning interests, a scheme has been prepared for the South Downs in Sussex between Eastbourne and Seaford and embracing Beachy Head and the famous cliff view From the Channel of the “Seven Sisters,” which will preserve from building more than 10,000 acres of downland. .
