The Shanghai correspondent of the “Times” says that the Japanese military attache, iji a statement after the murder of Mr Tang Yujen, said: “Tho killing of officials who are seeking to promote Sino-Japanese friendship darkens the countries’ future 'relations. We cannot remain unconcerned over a recurrence of assassinations.”
