FfARMERS who are being rung up and threatened with penalties regarding railage on LIME will be interested to know that the railway statement for year ending March 31, 1935, states that the revenue received by Railway Department for the year amounted to 7/4 per ton for an average haul of 66 miles. The tariff rate for Lime is 7/1 per ton for 66 miles. REMEMBER.—If .the Department is successful in collecting from you they are presumably being paid twice.
