ST. JAMES THEATRE. “Lady Tubbs,” the Universal picturisation of the funniest story ever written by Homer Croy, will be shown at the St. James Theatre to-night and to-morrow night. Alice Brady has the title role in this rollicking comedy, which tells the story of a cook in a railroad construction camp who falls heir to a fortune and a title, and is received in a fashionable Long Island home. How she helps along a romance and unearths some disturbing skeletons in the closets of a couple who direct constant attention to the high-hattedness of their respective families, is screamingly funny. MAJESTIC THEATRE. In “Music Hall,” IIKO Radio picture, which will head the new bill at the Majestic Theatre to-night and to-morrow night, will be found the answer to many a showman’s question as to what constitutes perfect entertainment. The story revolves round a one-time popular variety house which, through bad management and lack of foresight, falls into serious financial straits. Its original manager-owner is prevailed to once more 1 take over the reins of the theatre and see if he can bring it back to its one-time prosperous position. There is a moral here for all showmen, for the picture teaches that all entertainment caterers must move with the times. <
