LICENSES FOR SEAMEN.
ALL MEN TO BE INCLUDED. STRIKE-PAY IN MELBOURNE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, December 25. Mr R. G. Menzies (Federal Attor-ney-General) announced that the Federal G<OA*ernment. would enforce licenses for seamen from next Tuesday. He said it Avas quite impossible to have a system of employment on ships in Avhich some men were licensed and some not. Melbourne seamrdn yesterday received their first strikep-ay, married men being gi>'en 10s and single men 7s 6d.
