HOUSES AND CHURCHES WRECKED. NO CASUALTIES REPORTED. Press Association—Copyright) MONTSERRAT (W. Ind.), Nov. 11. Heavy damage to property was caused by earthquakes which rocked this island over an area of 32 miles on Sunday afternoon and night. No one was injured, but homes and other buildings were either, damaged or wrecked. The water supply at Plymouth was cut off by the breaking of the main pipe line. The telephone service was disrupted. The lower part of Plymouth, where the earthquakes were heaviest, was almost deserted at the time. St, Peter’s Church and the Catholic Church were partially destroyed, but the congregations left in time. The earthquakes did not take the island by surprise, for during the last fortnight thei'e have been preliminary rumblings. The island, has 1300 inhabitants.
