MOSTLY TRIANGULAR CONTESTS SIX FOR WELLINGTON EAST. FOUR WOMEN ENTER THE LISTS. Nominations of candidates for the general elections to be held on Wednesday, November 27, closed at noon to-day. Pl-ess Association messages, covering most of the constituencies show very few straight-out contests, the greater number being triangular, with some more complicated. Wellington East heads the list with sis candidates, one of whom is a woman, and New Plymouth has five, one of these being a. woman. There are two other women candidates, one each at Wellington North and Dunedin North. In the Mid-Canterbury electorate three candidates—Messrs James Carr (National), H. E. Herring (Labour), and W. H.
