ITALIANS AND LIGHT TANKS. ABYSSINIANS IN FULL RETREAT SERIOUS BLOW INFLICTED. COMMAND OF WELLS GAINED. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, November 11. Most of the war dispatches this morning deal with the reported arrival of the Italians on the outskirts of Dagedar. after the capture of Sassaherieh. There is some incredulity that ordinary forces could have made an unprecedented advance of 100 miles in seven days in such country, and it is sliggested that the feat is attributable tb fleets of light tanks. A message from Rome confirms that the Abyssinians are massing at Amba Alagi, but an unofficial message from Addis Ababa says that the Abyssinians are in full retreat on the northern and southern fronts. The capture of Anatalo,v 30 miles north of Amba Alagi, is also reported. , , . , From the Italian military standpoint the fall of Gorahai is one of the most serious blows to Abyssinia, endangering the whole zone of reserves and concentrations between Sassabaneh, Marrar and Jijig», giving the Italians command of the wells indispensable toi troops, and opening the direct route to Harrar along the Fafan Valley.
