CHARGES OF ARSON
FOURTH MAN AR RESTEID. (Per Press Association). PALMERSTON NORTH', Nov. 11. Edwin Walter Barringer, described as an armature winder, and aged 40, appeared before a magistrate to-day charged with wilfully damaging a £2OU motor ear on or about September 11, 1930; also, that on or about May 8 last, be committed arson by setting fire to the Makotuku Hotel. A remand was granted the police. The accused was arrested in Hamilton, where he is in business. He makes the fourth man held by the Palmerston North police on arson charges.
