ALLENTON v. METHVEN. A friendly match between teams from Allenton and Methven Croquet Clubs was played on the Allenton. greens yesterday. In the singles, Allenton won four games and Methven two, and in the doubles Methven won twoi games and Allenton one. Details are as follow, Allenton names being mentioned first:—
