PERTH, October 31. The weather was overcast for the opening of the match between the touring Marylebone Cricket Club and Western Australia. A shower stopped play, biit the perfect wicket was not affected. Marylebone won the toss. Smith’s forceful all-round play and the style of Mitchell-Innes and Hardstaff impressed the spectators.
