CO-OPERATIVE SYSTEM DISLIKED

As the result of a refusal by tbe men to accept tbe Public Works cooperative contract system, work on the Greymouth aerodrome) ceased this morning, about 40 men being affected Objection is taken to the conditions and rates of payment. Representations on behalf of the men are being made to the Unemployment Board.
MONTH’S TRIAL FOR SYSTEM. GREYMOUTH, This Day. The men met this afternoon and decided to resume and give contract rates a month’s trial.
