ONLY THREE CASES
CHRISTCHURCH SUPREME COURT (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Only three cases were presented for trial at the Supreme Court criminal sessions which commenced before Mr Justice Nortlicroft to-day. True bills Were returned in all cases, and later Hugh Francis Haughey. charged with theft and receiving stolen money, and Gilbert Eldred, oil' two charges of indecent assault, pleaded guilty.
The remaining case is a charge, of robbery with violence against John Robert Armstrong. The hearing was postponed till to-morrow. Mr Justice Nortlicroft expressed pleasure at the diminution in crime, and again voiced his support of the Grand Jury system.
