CANOE CAPSIZES
MAN AND WOMAN RESCUED. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, October 21. In the- Porirua Harbour on Saturday afternoon a sailing canoe, in which were a man and a woman, capsized, watcher on the shore saw the canoe n difficulties, but lie had to mata for assistance. A inunc’i imm diately set out, but nearly an horn an a half elapsed before the scene of the accident was reached and the man an woman found. They were some tanco from the upturned canoe. The woman, who was wearing a liw jacket, was supporting the man. who was unconscious when taken from the water. He did not recover consciousness till after the party had landed at Titalii Bay, where a doctor was summoned.
