TASMANIAN SWEEPSTAKE. (United Press Association —Copyright) SYDNEY, October 18. Dunedin residents have done well in the Tasmanian Cup consultation. The £IO,OOO cash prize was won by the “Four L Syndicate,” of Anderson’s Bay, Dunedin, and a £IOOO prize was won by “Spring,” of Dunedin.

The holders of the ticket are Mrs h. Boyce and her son, Mr L. Boyce, of Anderson’s Bay, and Mrs A. H. Lethaby, of St. Clair. The other member of the syndicate is Mr A. F. Applegarth, of Invercargill. Mrs Boyc©, who is aged 64, came from London six years ago. Her son is married, with four young sons, and is an engineer for the New Zealand Wax Vesta Company. Mr Applegartb is a dental mechanic.
