ADVANCE ON THREE FRONTS.
NATIVE cavalry and armoured CARS. ITALIANS MAKE PROGRESS. LONDON, October 4. The Italians are reported from Addis Ababa to be advancing on three fronts —in the north, in the east, near the Aussa province, and in the south, in Ogaden. Heavy fighting is expected to-day. Reports from Italian headquarters in Eritrea state that the Italian advance is proceeding. Native cavalry and armoured cars are leading the infantry into Abyssinian territory. The progress made in the last few hours is considered remarkable in view of the total absence of roads.
