At the wool sales 9481 bales were offered, including 2805 New Zealand, and about 5640 Australian and New Zealand were sold. Competition was fair.
New Zealand scoured merinos, Glenada, sold up to 21|d, with an average of 203 d. The Bradford market is steady, but new business is quiet. Quotations: Seventies, 32|d; 64.’5, 30d; 60’s, 28-)d; 56’s, 19|d ; 50’s, 14id ; 46’s, 12-id ; 46’s, 10jd.
