The annual golf tournament conducted by the Ashburton Ladies’ Golf Club has proved a popular fixture with players throughout Canterbury, and it is expected that this year’s event, which will be held on October 9 and 10, will attract large entries. Tlia Ashburton links are in perfect order, and should provide players with ideal conditions for this year’s tournament. It has been decided to extend the period of receiving entries up to Saturday.
