ST. JAMES THEATRE. “Such Women Are Dangerous,” a comedy-drama starring Warner Baxter, shows at the St. James Theatre tonight and to-morrow night. The film combines romance, intrigue and mystery, and presents Baxter in a role that is ideally suited to his personality. Baxter finds himself the target of the. love-making of three charming feminine stars, Rosemary Ames, Rochelle Hudson and Alena Barrie. Baxter as a handsome bachelor-novelist is the admiration of nine million woman readers, but three women are divectly concerned with his private life. One of them, his secretary, seeks to protect him fix>m the love of a. young girl who aims to marry him, and also a married opera singer who is madly infatuated with him. Then comes death and a murder charge. There is a tense climax.

MAJESTIC THEATRE. The way of the United States Government against the master criminals of the nation has been made into a thrilling drama by First National Pictures, and' with James Cagney in the stellar role, showing finally to-night. Those fearless secret service men whoso exploits in rounding up the arch desperadoes of the country have been told in newspaper headlines for the past year are called “G Alen,” and “G Men” is the title of the screen’s first dramatisation of the picture. It follows the career of one of these “G Alen” from the time he joined the Federal service, through, his training period, through machine-gun battles with gangsters to a thrilling climax in which lie finally rounds up, and exterminates, a gang of murderous kidnappers.

FAIRY OPERA. No fewer than 90 young people will take part in the fairy opera, “Snowwhite and the Seven Dwarfs,” which is to be presented at the Majestic Theatre to-morrow night and on Thursday night. The company lias been rehearsing for some weeks, and the presentation should be a good one. Great pains have been taken with, the costuming, and in this regard alone the opera will be bright. Numerous musical numbers will be offered. The evening should be a delight to adult patrons as well as to the younger generation.
