DOCTOR CAUGHT IN TOEHOLD MEDICAL MAN’S RETALIATION (Special to the “Guardian.”) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 24. The spectacle of a -Well-known medical man soundly spanking a wrestler with his shoe was witnessed at the bout between Earl McCready and Catalino. Catalino was frequently out of the ring, sometimes against his will and sometimes to escape the clutches of his powerful opponent. On one occasion McCready threw Catalino over the ropes, and Catalino, in his excitement, put a toehold on Dr. G. H. Thompson, who was-sitting in a ringside seat. 'Dr. Thompson’s shoe was torn off in the process. As -Catalino- was climbing back through the ropes the doctor soundly applied the shoe to the swarthy wrestler several to the tremendous delight of the large audience. ,
