BODY IN RIVER
CHINESE TENNIS PLAYER. (United Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, September 22. The body of Wing Loch Wei, aged 43, an International tennis player and several times captain of the Chinese Davis Cup team, was found floating in the Hudson River off Greenwich Village Docks, to-day. According to friends, he disappeared twenty-four hours before the body was found. A preliminary investigation failed to reveal whether he committed suicide, or whether he was the victim of an accident or foul play. The police understand that he was a son of the late Basham Wei, at one time Chinese Minister in London.
