FINE OF £IOO IMPOSED. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, September 13. “I don’t wsnt to. send a respectable man to gaol, and in any case prison does not stop it,” said Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day when referring to Francis Brewer, whom he fined £IOO on a charge of being tiie occupier of premises used as a common gaming bouse.
