SEVERAL BURGLARIES

YOUNG MEN PLEAD GUILTY. (Per Press Association). MASTERTON, September 13. After a series of burglaries in Mastorton, three local young men, Ernest Williams, Jack Stimpson and Edward James Corbett, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to charges of breaking and entering and theft. All three accused were committed to the Wellington sittings of the Supreme Court for sentence on six indictable charges. The Magistrate (Mr H. P. Lawry) deferred sentence on two charges against Williams and Stimpson of theft from, ears until the major charges were dealt with. A certain amount of stolen property, it was stated, had been recovered, while Williams had made part restitution.
