At* a meeting of the Datefield Gooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., held at Cai'terton yesterday, tlie following .resolution was passed:- , • . i-‘ “That in view of many newspaper reports of bonuses .being paid! to dairy farmers we wish to draw attention to the following facts:—(l) That these so-called bonuses are in reality deferred payments; (2) that the total payment to farmers this season is really less than last year (admittedly ah tinfinancial year), Dalefield, for instance, while paying'a total of 10§dTper lb ‘ffir butterfat (well above the Dominion average! is actually distributing approximately ; £IIPO tefjs. amongst .a slightly larger number of .
