MINIATURE RIFLES.

THE LYNNFORD CLUB.

SEVERAL TROPHY SHOOTS. ,

The following were the scores at the weekly shoot of the Lynnford Miniature Rifle Club, when the second shoot for the trophy given by Mr W. Henderson (president) was fired, in conjunction with the second shoot for the third period of the Cooper Cup and the first shoot of the final period of the Chapman Cup:—

N. Baugrle 79, R. McGregor 78, E. Bishop 70, J. Bishop 76, R. Johnston 75, L. Dell 75, N. Reid 75, A. Painter 77, J. Donaldson 75, E. Cuckow 72, H. Painter 70, R. Bennett 70, L. Stalker 68, S. Johnston 65. The final of the trophy resulted: J. Donaldson (10) 75, 76, 76, 74, first; E. Bishop (6) 76, 74, 76, 64, second. A. Painter '(10) 72, 71, 69, R. McGregor (10) 70, 70, 70, 67, and E. Cuckow (6) 77, 74, 69, also qualified. The third period of the Cooper Cup resulted in the following tieing with the possible (160), including handicaps: R. McGregor (13), N. Reid (14), E. Cuckow (12), J. Donaldson (16), and A. Painter (18). The fourth period of the Chapman Cup resulted: R. McGregor (34) 70, 74, 72, 70—320, 1; S. Johnston (36) 72, 72, 69, 70 319, 2; L. Stalker (34) 67, 76, 70, 71 —318, 3. This competition has now reached a very interesting stage, and all members still have a chance of winning the cup, as no member has scored more than five points, the limit of a win in a period. A trophy given by Collins and Co. will be competed for next week.
