NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. AUCKLAND, August 28. The New Zealand amateur billiards championship opened to-night, when jVI IX White (Auckland) ,the champion beat E. J. Goodhew, the former Km P io“, by 666 to 284. Tho w.nner’s best breaks were 92 and 90 (unfinished).
