RUST IN WHEAT
CANADA’S WORST EXPERIENCE,
ENORMOUS LOSS TO FARMERS. PRAIRIE AREAS DEVASTATED. * (Received This Day, 12.55 p.m.) OTTAWA, August 27. Prairie farmers will lose 1,000,000,000 dollars through rust in wheat, states Mr E. S. Archibald (Director of the Government Experimental Farms). The rust is the worst ever experienced and will reduce, the grain crop by 102,000,000 bushels.
