The following were the results of the annual inter-school hockey and basketball matches played at Christchurch on Saturday:— Hockey—Christchurch Girls’ High School A 2, Rangiora District High School 0; Christchurch Girls’ High School. B 0, Ashburton High School 1. Basketball—Ashburton High School
21 Avonside Girls’ High School A 11; Ashburton High School 10, Christchurch Girls’ High School A 9; Ashburton High School 4, Rangiora District- High School 15; Christchurch Girls’ High Sehood 22, Rangiora District High iSc-hool 19. Misses 11. F. C. Tyndall and J. H. Haslam were in charge of the Ashburton High School teams.
