MEAT RESTRICTIONS
OPINION OF MR G. W. FORBES-
THE PREMIER AT FREMANTLE. (United Press Association —Copyright) FREMANTLE, July 30. Th® Nc-W Zealand Prime Minister (the Rt, Hon. G. W. Forbes) and Mrs Forbes arrived by the Maloja. Commenting on the discussions m London, Mr Forbes said he did not think that any restrictions would be placed on Australian and New Zealand lamb and mutton. ■ After expressing satisfaction with the general position in regard to mutton and lamb, Mr Forbes said the beef negotiations were proceeding satisfactorily when he left. Referring to the proposed transTasman air-mail, Mr Forbes said there should be an Imperial scheme inaugurated after consultation between the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australian Governments. Mrs Forbes said that this* her third visit to London, had been the most thrilling one. 'Slip had been impressed during the Jubilee celebrations by the spirit of the people, which she described as wonderful.
