The European and joint editors of a native newspaper in Natal have been sentenced to four months' and two months’ hard labour respectively for publishing scandalous and dishonouring words against the King. The article began: “Who is King George, anyway?” and urged natives not to v/orship the King. It referred to Royalty as parasites. The accused admitted being Communists and pleaded that the clime of lese majeste no longer existed.
