PUBLIC NOTICE. BOROUGH OF ASHBURTON. HAMPSTEAD .DRAINAGE LOAN 1935, £12,000. PURSUANT to Section 10 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and with the precedent consent of the Local Government Loans Board, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a POLL of RATEPAYERS of the HAMPSTEAD AREA of the Borough will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 7th day of August, 1935, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £12,000 for the purpose of installing an UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE SYSTEM for that area. SUM PROPOSED TO BE BORROWED:— Twelve thousand Pounds (£12,000). THE PROPOSED SECURITY AND PAYMENT OF LOAN. The Security for the Loan shall be a Special Rate of One Shilling and Seven Pence Halfpenny in the Pound sterling, on the Annual Value of all the rateable property within the Hampstead Area of the Borough, Loan to be for a period of 35 years, and bearing Interest at Three Pounds Ten Shillings per cent. per cent.) per annum, together with a Sinking Fund of One Pound Ten Shillings (H P er cent.) per annum.
