CHARGES FOR POWER
A PROTEST FROM OAMARU. (Per Press Association). OAMARU, This Day. After consideration of a report by the special committee set up by the Government regarding bulk electricity charges, the Waitaki Power Board to-day carried a resolution expressing disappointment with the suggested scale providing for higher rates being charged to smaller* supply authorities than metropolitan authorities. The board protested against the perpetuation of such injustice under a national scheme.
