POWER TO SELL

Before the Chief Judge in Equity (Mr Justice Long Inns), application was made by the Public Trustee for an order authorising him to sell trust buildings in the liquidation of the Southern British National Trust. The Court made an order for sale bv auction or private treaty at a reserve which was fixed, but was not disclosed.
The Public Trustee was also given authority to expend money in improving the building for letting purposes.
