Mr J. Hutcheon (one of the Queensland members of the Board) stated that he and the other Queensland member of the Board (Mr R, Hartigan) would take immediate steps to have the decision reversed.

The “Telegraph” says that in high cricket circles it is believed the hoard’s move will have repercussions that will startle the cricket world.
