TARRANT’S TEAM FOR INDIA.
SEVEN PLAYERS BARRED. MELBOURNE, July 25. The Cricket Board of Control reached a decision about the players for Frank Tarrant’s team Tor India, and barred 1 seven players—Kippax, Quivers, Oxenham, Rigg, Woodfull, Ponsford, and Nitschke. The following 12 were approved:—J. Ryder, H. Ironmonger, A. Allsopp, C. Macartney, H. Hendry, J. "Ellis, T. Leather, H. Love, R. Bryant, R. Morrisby, L. Nagel and H. Alexander. Tarrant intends to- take 15 players on the tour.
