AN ARGENTINIAN KILLED.
MINISTER AND ANOTHER HURT. SUPPOSED GUARD’S BAD AIM. (United Press Association—Copyright) BUENOS AIREjS, July 23. The Argentine Senate was to-day bitterly debating aj Bill to extend Government control oyer foreign meatpackers, when a spectator, identified by the police as Ramon Vasquez Cora, fired a revolver from the gallery, killing Senator Enza Bordabelieie, representing Santa Fe Province, and wounding Senators Luis Duahau (Minister for Agriculture) and Rafael Mancini, who also represents Santa Fe. Senators Bprdabehere and Duahau were talcing opposite sides in the discussion, and seemed about to begin a fist fight, when the shooting started. The police stated that Cpra was the leader of a local Fascist movement. It is believed that he was serving as bodyguard for his friend, Senator Dnahau, and that he shot Senator Bordabehere to prevent him attacking the Minister. His aim, however, was faulty and he wounded the man he was delegated to protect. It is thought that he must have entered the building accompanied by a Senator, because all others were searched for arms before they w-ere allowed to enter.
