NEW ROAD RECORDS. “HEFTY” STUART’S PERFORMANCE. LONDON, July 23. Despite the delay in threading his way through Portsmouth’s packed street market before breakfast and also a minor fall and one Avrong turn, “Hefty” Stuart broke the London-Portsmouth-London record of -137 miles, doing the journey in 61irs 34min 7sec, AA’hich is 15min lOsec better than Southall’s record made in 1934.
