RACING PILOT KILLED
CRASH INTO TREES. PARIS, July 7. A well-known racing airman Captain Jacques Puget, and his companion, Lieutenant Qumgot, were killed today. Their machine crashed during the annual 12 hours’ reliability flight in which 12 machines make a circuit of 25 miles for six hours, then cover 312 miles in the next six hours. Captain Puget landed to refuel and collided with a clump of trees when starting again.
