SHARP EARTHQUAKE.
SHOCK AT MILFORD SOUND. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Director-General of the Post and Telegraph Department has received the following report from the superintendent of the Awarua Radio Station: “Milford Sound radio reports that a short sharp earthquake was experienced at 2.7 a.m. to-dav. The ’quake was sufficient to awaken all occupants of the hostel and the Public Works camp, but no damage is reported.”
