TO BE STAGED IN MELBOURNE.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 22. According to advice received in Wellington, Alfred Hill’s new . grand opera, “Austria,” "composed durihgthe last three years, will be produced by Sir Benjamin Fuller’s company at Melbourne. The opera, which has never yet been performed in public, will be given an all-Australian, cast. The lead it* to be sung by Florence Austral, and Isolde Hill, the composer’s daughter, will sing a secondary soprano role.
