At the wool sales 9737 bales were offered, including 4273 New Zealand and 4991 Australian and approximately 7665 New Zealand and Australian were sold. There was well sustained Home and Continental competition at full recent rates. New Zealand merino, Aviamore, sold up to 24d with an average of 21d.
