THE ASHBURTON CLUB In the final of the Ashburton Bowling Club's handicap singles competition, J. McElhinney beat E. J. O'Brien 20-17 after a close game. At the 21st end the score was 17-all hut McElhinney scored three on the last head. He trailed the jack with his last bowl.
