HOCKEY.
TOUR BY INDIAN TEAM CHRISTCHURCH, March 12. A letter from the All India Hockey Federation was before the meeting of the committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association to-night. The letter stated that the terms offered by New Zealand were acceptable and that a team of 16 players which would be fully representative ofl hockey in India would be sent. The. team would arrive in Wellington on May 13, for a tour of 10i weeks and would leave Auckland on July 26. Subject to suitable arrangements being made, the team will visit Australia at the end fo the New Zealand tour. Provincial associations will be asked to apply for matches before March 31.
