A FORMAL DECLARATION. VICTIMS OF NAZI “PURGE.” GERMAN GENERALS’ ACT. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) BERLIN, March 11. Generals von Schleicher (ex-Chancel-lor) and .von Bradow, who were executed in the June purge, have been formally vindicated. ‘General von MacKenson, presiding at a. meeting of 200 generals, read a list of officers who had died in the last 12 months.
, The Minister of War (General von B.lojnberg) authorised the inclusion of the names of von Schleicher and von Bradow, who are now declared to have fallen like soldiers, their honour untainted.
