ST. STEPHEN’S v. EIFFELTON. In a tennis match played on Saturday between the St. Stephen’s and Eiifelton Clubs, St. Stephen’s won by 11 .sets (95 games), to live sets (75 games. Results of the play are as follow, Eiifelton names being mentioned first:— Women’s singles—Miss M. Stevens 7, Miss A. Hasken 3; Miss O'. Stevens 6, Miss I. Cambridge 7; Miss E, Anderson 3, Miss 1. BOWMAN CUP MATCH. A very successful tennis tournament was conducted at the Baptist courts on Saturday afternoon to determine the winner of the Bowman Cup for combined doubles for the season. A large number of players took part and after some very keen games, the winners were Miss M. Biggar and Mr I. Collins. The cup w r as handed over by the donor, the president of the club, who also presented the winners, each with a miniature cup.
